Mueller Austin to Announce Parks April 19
Here’s one for our local readers.
Austin loves our parks and greenery, so it’s always nice to see a developer making efforts to implement them in a new neighborhood.
I received an invitation to an announcement from Catellus, the master developer at Mueller Austin in East Central Austin. According to the invite, they are partnering with the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center for Mueller’s Southwest Greenway. They will also share an update on the progress of the Northwest Greenway and the community’s first neighborhood park.
- The event will be held at the newly constructed playscape along Mueller’s Northwest Greenway.
- Representatives from Catellus, the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center and several local architecture firms will be on hand to speak about the features of the parks and the impact they will have on Mueller and the entire Austin community.
The Northwest Greenway is located off Philomena St. adjacent to the upcoming Dell Children’s Medical Center. Parallel parking will be available along Philomena St.
