I read about a few text-to-speech tools that allow blog fans to listen to their favorite blogs. I’m preparing a video presentation for GeekEstate.com on how to use the tool on popular blogs including Wordpress, Blogger and Typepad.

HOW BLOGGERS CAN USE ODIOGO

Listening to your favorite blog is pretty easy if the blogger has it set up. You simply click the "Listen" button. For bloggers, it’s a simple set up:

1. Sign up for Odiogo on their website.
2. Activate your account. Just open the automated email with your feed ID in it.
3. Copy and paste the code that they provide into your site OR click the "install" button to install and configure on Typepad.

SUMMARY REVIEW
Other text-to-speech tools for blogs include Talkr and Readspeaker. Talkr was very easy to set up because it’s linked to Feedburner. Setup was very intuitive.

ReadSpeaker wasn’t intuitive for me. I’m technical, but impatient, which is why I chose both Talkr and Odiogo.
